You will need Curseforge AND Java for this to work.
Download Curseforge and open the app. From the homepage choose "Minecraft". Now you will be on a tab labeled "My Modpacks". Click on 'Create custom profile' then 'import' and then go to your downloads folder and select the zip file that you can download HERE. Click open, let it finish downloading, and click play! The Minecraft launcher will open and you will be able to play the game from there (make sure Pioneer Craft 1.X is selected).
Inorder to save your minimap progress follow the instructions below!
Go to Curse Forge, Open the profile "Pioneer Craft 1.1", click on the three dots and open the Folder. You will see 3 folders named: XaeroWaypoints, XaeroWaypoints_BACKUP, and XaeroWorldMap. Copy these files and move them to a temporary place on your desktop. Once you upload the new profile insert those files back into the folder.
***TO RAISE MINECRAFT MEMORY***
Once the Minecraft Launcher has loaded go to 'installations', click on the three dots button next to "Pioneer Craft 1.X", click on 'edit', 'more options', and under JVM ARGUMENTS where it says "-Xmx4096m" replace 4096 with any number that is divisible by 8 (i.e. 8,000 - 10096)
